We believe in full transparency about how we make money. This page explains exactly how the GetBetBox business model works and what it means for you.
The Short Version
GetBetBox is an affiliate marketing website. We list bookmakers, promo codes, and welcome bonuses. When you click a link on our site and sign up at a bookmaker, the bookmaker pays us a commission — but it never costs you anything extra. You get the same bonus as if you went directly to the bookmaker, often better.
You pay nothing extra. Affiliate commissions are paid by the bookmaker out of their marketing budget — not from your deposit, your bonus, or your winnings.
How Affiliate Tracking Works
When you click on a "Visit" button or any other link to a bookmaker on our site, a tracking link records that you came from GetBetBox. If you sign up and meet the bookmaker's requirements (which usually means making a qualifying deposit and placing a bet), we receive a commission.
The bookmaker uses standard browser cookies to track this. These cookies are set by the bookmaker, not by us. They typically expire within 30–90 days.
How We Choose Which Bookmakers to Feature
The bookmakers we list are chosen based on several factors:
- Bonus value: Welcome offers and ongoing promotions
- Payout reliability: Track record of paying winners
- Coverage: Markets, sports, and live betting options
- User experience: Quality of the website and mobile app
- Customer support: Availability and responsiveness
- Licensing: Where the bookmaker is licensed and regulated
- User reviews: Feedback from real bettors
We do not rank bookmakers solely based on how much commission they pay us. A bookmaker offering us a higher commission won't get a higher ranking if its actual service is worse for users.
FTC and Regulatory Compliance
In line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides, EU Consumer Protection regulations, and similar rules in other jurisdictions, we clearly disclose our affiliate relationships:
- This dedicated Affiliate Disclosure page
- The
rel="sponsored nofollow"attribute on all affiliate links (a technical signal to search engines) - A general disclosure in our site footer and Privacy Policy
- A clear notice in our Terms of Use
What We Don't Do
To maintain user trust, we have a clear set of practices we don't engage in:
- We do not write fake reviews or testimonials
- We do not hide bookmaker downsides or negative information to boost commissions
- We do not promote bookmakers we know to be unreliable or fraudulent
- We do not target underage users — our site is strictly 18+
- We do not promote gambling to users in jurisdictions where it is illegal
Promo Codes
The promo codes listed on our site are either:
- Exclusive codes negotiated directly with the bookmaker (giving you a better signup bonus than going directly to their site), or
- Standard public codes — clearly the same offer you'd get anywhere else, listed for convenience.
We verify each code regularly. If you find a code that doesn't work, please contact us so we can update it.
Bookmaker Compensation Structures
Bookmaker affiliate programs typically pay in one of three ways:
- CPA (Cost Per Acquisition): A one-time fixed payment when a user signs up and meets specific criteria
- RevShare (Revenue Share): An ongoing percentage of the net revenue the user generates for the bookmaker
- Hybrid: A combination of both
The compensation structure does not influence how we rank or describe bookmakers.
Editorial Independence
Our reviews, rankings, and editorial content are written independently. A bookmaker cannot pay to be featured more prominently, to have negative information removed, or to receive a higher rating. If a bookmaker behaves badly toward users (e.g., refusing legitimate payouts, unfair terms changes), we will say so publicly even if it means losing affiliate revenue.
